Review on White Wall-Mounted Folding Wooden Drop-Leaf Desk With Storage Shelves - Haotian FWT07-W by Stephen Lunn

Ok for what it is good for me

I think some of the people writing reviews of the desk are expecting too much at this low of a price point. The parts are well fitted and all of the necessary hardware was included. There are no written word instructions. Instead, there are a series of diagrams that are very easy to follow. The desk is functional so long as you don't put too much weight on it. The hinges are flimsy and I may end up eventually replacing them. I would ignore the predrilled holes for mounting to the wall unless they happen to fall over a stud. Otherwise, use a stud finder and just drill you own holes into the back of the desk for mounting into at least two studs. I would also use Titebond glue on all mating surfaces as you put the desk together. One gripe I have is that no adhesive screw head covers were included to help hide the holes and screw heads. I purchased some on Walmart and it made for a better looking assembly job. The desk works ok for a laptop and the folding feature is why we bought it in the first place. For the price, I would say it is generally worth it, but it could be better. If there was a better designed unit, I would have purchased it, even if it had been a $100 more, but right now there are not many floating desks on the market.
