Ideal for trekking in Arizona

CamelBak Zephyr men's running vest I have several hiking vests, packs and hydration systems and they all have their pros and cons. Hiking in warm weather (which is mostly the case in Arizona) β€’ Easy – very easy. The knit mesh is stretchy and has a wide weave for airflow and transports easily accessible water. Sometimes I just need a few bottles of water and that's enough (1 liter or about Β½ quart) β€’ I can use my hydration reservoir when needed - my 3000ml reservoir fits in the back if I want to carry more water. A NOTICE. Although it fits in my 3 liter camelbak bladder, it closes tightly. When filled to 2L it fits perfectly - with the included collapsible bottles I can carry a total of 3L or about ΒΎ gallon. As others have noted, this doesn't come with a bladder, just two collapsible bottles. Again, 1 liter is good for a lot of exercise. β€’ It has more than enough pockets and keeps the things I need, like my phone, in front of me. β€’ It has lots of reflective surfaces for nighttime hikes/runs β€’ It's light enough for walking and hiking β€’ It adjusts easily. Looks small at first glance, but offers a lot of adjustment options β€’ I can carry my poles on it. This is very important to me and I'm always amazed at how many backpacks don't have this necessary and simple feature. β€’ This is Camelbak - I've had good luck with this brand for over 20 years. I'll admit this is unlike any other product I've used, but I expect quality and good customer service when I buy this brand. β€’ Collapsible bottles work well and don't take up much space. β€’ High quality zippers and other closures β€’ They include an elastic band on each adjustable strap to allow loose ends to be secured and not dangling. Issues: β€’ Open webbing can snag bushes while hiking β€’ While there is enough room for shorter hikes (10-12 miles), I prefer more room for emergency gear for longer hikes. All in all it's great for me. It's so light you'll hardly notice it unless you're carrying a lot of liquid. It's a bit innovative and new and might not be to everyone's taste. It might seem "weak" because it's very light, but it's well built and should be able to carry a load. You have airflow around you, this would be a great product to buy.
