Review on 💾 Seagate Ultra Touch SSD 1TB: Portable White USB-C Drive for PC MAC, Android App, and 3-Year Rescue Service by Kristin Bridges

I specialize in technical reviews and have reviewed some great SSDs from LaCie, SanDisk, Western Digital, Samsung and now Seagate. However, this is the first time - a hard drive encased in fabric. I don't quite understand why, but my cat is happily preparing her claws for her new scratching post - NO! Let's see how the drive compares to the competition: VERSATILITY All of the competitive drives I've tested come with direct USB 3.0 and USB-C ports, and two sets of cables. This 500GB model has a slight downside, as it has to use the USB-C adapter that comes with it. I think this is a bug as almost all modern laptops have switched to USB-C including the latest Mac laptops which only support USB-C. SIZE All new SSD dives are small, and this Seagate is no exception. At approximately 3 inches x 2.25, it's great at home and great for traveling. If you want even less, look for the tiny Sabrent Rocket NVME, which got my highest rating. SPEED/FORMATTING: Mac requires reformatting for maximum speed vs. ExFat pre-formatting. Seagate offers a three-year limited warranty. That creates trust! The Samsung warranty is also three years. Sandisk Guarantee. . . you guessed! 3 years. These are all good values, fast in both reading and writing, and highly recommended. You can choose based on aesthetics - in this case whether a fabric covered disc is right for you.
