After throwing away the cucumber fork, I used it to loosen the ball joint on my 2007 Chrysler Town & Country. But to get it in place I had to lower the lower control arm and swing it out of the way. I then had to remove the axle from the hub to get enough clearance for the arm to go through the ball joint stud. At a higher setting, I still had to drive it in to get the lever far enough over the bolt. Once I had it in place, I turned the screw and just when I thought it might fail, rattling, the ball joint was loose. The bolt grew a bit, I had to file it to remove the nut. It would not work for tie rod ends on the same car. The hole is not wide enough to fit through the bolt. This thing is bigger than I expected. Six inches long but much larger than pictured. I use a 15/16 head to tighten the bolt. Also, the screw has a ball bearing at the end, which is nice.
