So the product name doesn't say it, but it's a MEN'S casual pants. I decided to make this purchase with this supposed knowledge and initially bought the large size. Because as a woman, my waist is small, but my hips are quite big. At 5ft 4in the big ones pulled just under my armpits and the belt was too big even for my 44in hips. So I ordered on Wednesday. They were only an inch longer, but the waistband was a little looser than comfortable, which was fine with me because, dear Merlin, how determined I was to get these pants. However, after washing, they suddenly became perfect. Again, I'm only 5ft 4" and my feet no longer drag the floor (including over my ankles) and the belt fits just right. Hooray!
