I bought it for an out of town wedding rehearsal organized in the hotel banquet hall. Bought knowing I would throw them away later but wanted to go a step further away from paper or clear plastic. They are strong but very thin. Don't worry about them crumbling like paper plates. In general, they looked beautiful on the tables. Very glad I had a white tablecloth because it is transparent. A dark color image has been added below so you can see the color underneath the plate. When we arrived 3 plates were broken. This didn't bother me as I ordered 60 plates for a batch of 45 people. Also in the pattern was a passport. As shown in another photo. Not all, but about half. These plates certainly gave me the added beauty I was looking for, but don't expect them to be heavy. Ideal if only used once to add some class. I would give them five stars if the printing was better. I LOVE the drawing.
