Defeated the Infernal Stormwind!

I bought this tent after reading a few reviews and watching videos of cheap camping tents. I didn't have a lot of money and I really wanted something reliable. I got a little worried when the weather forecast started to change and I saw that the temperature would be below 20 degrees with strong winds and possible rain. I didn't practice setting up the tent before leaving, I just watched the video the night before. A friend of mine was camping with me and it was easy between the two of us, I didn't even use the extra guy line to post messages on the side, I was only staying there, didn't need a room and it didn't look like I was going to it would rain I HEARED the wind in that tent all night, and it swore it was about to blow out of the ground. It was very loud. The wind was strong enough to knock my girlfriend's tent over several times, to the point that she stuffed her tent in her bag and climbed into my tent around 2am. I finally got some sleep and I think she did too. We both managed to adjust, I don't know if I would call this a 2 person tent or go on a long hike with this and only 2 people. But for us I think we were fine for the night and even my backpack is inside because I was worried about the rain and she brought hers in too when she climbed in so we definitely filled the space. I think there would be even more room if I used side braces to stretch it a bit more. We didn't pitch our tents in the best spot, we wanted a sunrise/sunset view, in retrospect we probably took advantage of a spot where part of the mountain could block the wind. But we survived one night, the tent was in the strong wind and I was warm enough. I don't know if I can attribute that to the tent as I had several warm layers, a good 20 degree sleeping bag and a 20 degree duvet for a blanket. Shower but luckily we didn't have rain on this trip so can't comment on that. All I can say is that on a mountainside in a very open spot in the Roan Highlands he didn't move in a strong wind.
