Review on 4Runner 2003 2009 Windshield Assembly Replacement by John Wood

This replacement is better than the old one but not as good quality as the OEM. But the price is acceptable. The plastic cap that fits over the mounting nut doesn't really match the lever in terms of fit and finish. It seems pretty light weight so I hope it lasts a long time. As they say, time will tell. Regardless of this product, the old lever broke when trying to remove it. I got to the exposed thread insert which was badly rusted. Even with the wiper/battery terminal puller, I had to use a dremel and cut a slot in the insert before I could free it. However, the extractor costs $12. I would recommend buying it if you are replacing your wiper arm.
