Revain Garage with the correct information shows this part will fit and it does not look or feel like the old part when looking at a Dorman part for the same car it looks identical to mine. So I know they didn't make two different parts for the same car in the same year. So someone is wrong in suggesting that this will fit a 2002 Ford f150 5.4L. Hope that helps. God bless you all.
