All in all not a bad towel for a young girl!
I was hesitant to purchase this towel as some reviews said it was "very thin". But my granddaughter asked for a unicorn towel and I went to get it. This is a slightly light - not heavy towel. BUT, it's not super thin. In fact, that's exactly what a little girl needs. It was beautiful, had no weird smells and she loved it! Her sister liked it too, so I'm ordering her a second towel now. I have no hesitation in recommending this towel.
