This is a replacement for the first one I had. This product works really great. One thing the instructions don't tell you is not to refrigerate the cookie dough. I bought the Wilton Spritz cookie book at the same time as my first cookie press, which had a recipe that said the dough was refrigerated. The dough was putting too much pressure on the product and loud popping noises were heard. I was able to finish a batch of cookies, but I couldn't remove the cylinder to clean it. I called Cuisinart and they explained what happened. Revain's return policy made returns very easy and now I know what not to do.
