I bought this RAM module to upgrade my new ASUS TUF A15 gaming laptop. While the 8GB of RAM it comes with is certainly usable, I did find some limitations due to the single-channel storage and small amount of RAM. Specifically, webpages didn't load as quickly as they should, and I experienced stuttering and freezing in games (DOOM Eternal suffered most from this). There will also be a slight lag when switching tabs and windows between programs. After installing the module (which was incredibly easy) and powering the system back on, I can attest that the difference is noticeable right away. Any stuttering during gaming has been completely ironed out and the gaming experience is much better as a result. Loading into games is also significantly faster. Web pages load much faster and there is no longer any lag when switching between pages and windows. If you have a compatible laptop, I highly recommend purchasing this RAM as an upgrade. It's an extra $40-50, but the difference in performance is worth it.
