I'll start by clarifying that I'm a small person so have a pretty small head but I have no problem with this thing. The hat has a little slack and I think I would have preferred it to be a snug fit, but not enough to be concerned. The battery is on the back of the hat and while you'll notice if you try to notice it certainly doesn't stand out much and it doesn't make me uncomfortable. This is where this extra game/stuff really helps; If it were denser, the battery could be more visible, so it's worth the trade-off. Using it after a full charge will definitely get you warm, although you may need to press the hat against your ears from time to time as heat gets into the ear area. The indicator light on the front panel shows which of the 3 levels you have set. Overall, despite the rather high price, I would say that this is a worthwhile purchase. After you went to Disney World last winter and got cold, the price of this hat is a small price to enjoy the warmth in the happiest place on earth during the cold season.
