Hyperlite radiators and aluminum bodies are superior compared to other cheaper alternatives. Especially if you leave them for a long time. I installed a 50 watt (3600 lumen) floodlight outside the garage. It was brighter than the 500 watt halogen it replaced! So impressed that I placed this tall 150 watt (21,000 lumens, 5000K) box in the middle of my 20 x 25 foot 2 ½ garage with a mounting height of about 11 feet. I was afraid it would be too bright and almost bought a 100 watt unit, but I'm glad I didn't. It easily covers the entire floor and 6 feet on all walls. It's comparable and not as bright as the 3 sets of 8ft dual light bars (34,800 lumens) I currently have. Definitely more energy efficient and about 1/3 cheaper than all fluorescent tubes depending on power consumption. A great 1-bulb light fixture for any homeowner's garage.
