Review on πŸ§₯ Protective and Stylish OAKI Rain Trail Suit for Toddler Boys: Jackets & Coats Collection by Tony Suggs

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sturdy construction, will last for years.

I bought two of these suits. Size 8/9 for my 6 year old who is 49 inches tall and 52 pounds. It suits him absolutely perfectly. Unfortunately I don't think it will last another season because it's so big and the inseam is already snug, but I can say it's well made to last for years and I can pass it on to the younger brothers and pass on to sisters. .The other I bought is a size 5 for my 4 year old whose exact sizes I don't have on hand but is a bit small for his age (40th percentile) and a choice of 4t and 5t sizes wears brand. Size 5 fits my 4 year old very well and will definitely last at least another year (I wanted them to last as the kids grow up). Before I bought them, I tried another brand. They were a lot cheaper. These were winter solstice gifts for my kids. Well, they went out to play with them and got soaked straight away. So I had to send them back. I decided I had to put up with that and spend the money on OAKI, and I'm certainly glad I did. They are incredibly well made. The seams are even! There's a cinched waist so your kids shouldn't look like puffy marshmallows unless they're wearing a ton of layers underneath. We live in a hot southern state so this will be for our torrential downpours and make it easier to play in the mud/outdoors. I'm tired of constantly rinsing dirty clothes out of the hose (you have to rinse the dirt off or excess dirt can ruin your washing machine), wring them out and then carry them in just to see their clothes/swimwear dirty after washing will. /drying.Of course we're having a drought right now, so it won't be raining/muddy now, but we can't wait for a rainy day! These suits are so real. I don't regret a dime! I don't think they are very breathable but my kids don't mind lying in all those muddy puddles they want.

Pros
  • LINING AND LAYERS: OAKI kids' rain and snowsuits feature a reinforced lining and bound seams for unmatched durability and the ability to add layers underneath the suit to suit the climate and needs of your adventure. The suits are not insulated. Other features include an internal drawcord for a snug fit, a brimmed hood, reflective stripes, neoprene/elastic ankle and wrist cuffs, a waterproof zip and more.
