As regular campervan travelers we look forward to the fall season and the planned arrival of our Snowbird friends to warm their bones in the dry desert heat. 99% of them drive their beautiful cars cross country on a long journey that ends here in Las Vegas. However, a savvy neighbor (who hails from Alaska) simply stores his large device on-site and his service technicians drive it to its assigned location at the resort before arriving from his flight. There is never enough snarky humour, wit or a good Chardonnay; Mr. Alaska's spirits quickly fade as he finds over the next few days that he can't remember ANY of his systems. We enjoy jokingly fixing numerous "bugs" hastily (after all, that's what friends with reading glasses are for, right?) Mr. Alaska, armed with newfound confidence, starts the engine, finds the brake release button, and heads to the seasonal diesel and propane Gas station. . We wave our arms and snort in response to the laughter of our covert advertising campaign. Sweet Redemption.
