Review on ๐Ÿšด Efficient Cycling Performance with Sigma Pure 1 ATS Wireless Bike Computer by Matt Welch

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good basic computer - Terrible and frustrating instructions/documentation

The manual is written in many languages and contains many pictograms, but in the end it does not contain any basic information that would be useful! For example, the kit includes two o-rings to mount the display and sensor, but the instructions don't mention that they are different sizes or what goes with what! If you want to know how to turn off (automatically turn off) the device - do not look for it in the instructions! I couldn't figure out why the wireless icon didn't come on and thought my unit was defective, but then I realized that it only works when it's locked into the handlebar mount, and the instructions don't say that either. Setting the tire size and units should be easy except the instructions are hard to follow. All of this is frustrating as it would be easy to write a simple and complete manual for this device. Plug this into an iPhone or computer for easy data downloading - but the instructions don't say anything about that, and I couldn't find any really helpful information on the company's website, other than that you'll probably need a docking station, which will do almost as much costs like a computer , and that direct links to a smartphone will not work with an iPhone. After all, it looks very nice as a basic device and works well. The documentation, on the other hand, is terrible. I give the device 4 stars and the documentation 0 stars.

Pros
  • FEATURES: The Sigma Pure 1 is an easy to use bike computer that displays the three important bike parameters - speed, distance and ride time - in a very easy to read format. With a simple push of a button, it displays the total distance and total driving time.
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
