Never thought it would work. For about 3 months I had a serious nitrate problem in my 100 gallon aquarium. First I put the plants in, then the goldfish ate them, then I put a baffle to keep them off the grass, the algae started to grow and the nitrates were over 100. I really tried to clean the gravel but it didn't work Work down a little but not enough (80ppm). I removed some of the fish as they were probably overstocked so I reduced the feeding. I've tried several different nitrate removal products (I won't name names) with no success. Then I searched the internet again and found this and ordered 2 bottles. At first I was told to use a little every day, I tried it for 3 days and measured every day. nothing fell. Then I thought of putting something in the test tubes that I've been collecting for 3 days and to my surprise they turned white. I then went straight to the tank, poured a large amount and checked the tank again 20 minutes later. THIS IS NO JOKE AT 5 PPM, I'M NOT JOKING. Now I'm ordering again as I want to refill. I'm not sure how long it will be, but I'm watching and checking every day. Guys, this product really works.
