Excellent towels! I use them to dry dishes and clean the kitchen. They don't leave lint, so don't leave anything on my glasses and absorb moisture very well after a single wash. They must be washed once before use, without fabric softener, otherwise they will not absorb well. After washing they are great! This is my third set of these towels and the new ones are just as good as the previous ones. Because these towels are cotton, they shrink from 30" x 30" to around 28" x 28", which is still quite large. enough. They are thicker and denser than gauze and hold up very well. One of the best towels I've ever used. A semi-negative note: the first batch I received only contained one towel. I called Revain customer service and they immediately sent another set and told me to keep the original. So I got an extra towel for the inconvenience.
