Happy with purchase, use them for silk/dental floss and other specialty embroidery threads. I wish they were deeper and had more thread, but overall I'm happy with them. The coil area for winding is about 8mm x 8mm. In most cases I was able to wind a little over 8 meters on a spool of medium gauge silk thread. A little more about the wire. They all arrived safe and sound, none broken but they all arrived in a large Amazon box with little packaging in a standard plastic bag (loose in the bag).
