I bought this collar and a non-adjustable collar from the same company for my 60 lb pit bull that we adopted after Christmas. He came to us 50lbs and skinny so we measured him before we brought him home and hoped for the best with the measurements as his breed usually has large necks. We started with an adjustable collar and never switched to any other collar. This adjustable collar is ideal for him! I was afraid it would slip and need constant tightening, but it doesn't. It stays where we put it and the buckle is of surprisingly good quality. The collar itself is made of two-ply nylon and is of very high quality in terms of value for money. I highly recommend it.
