iPad claims to be certified refurbished; however, it was NOT. I was new to Apple products when I bought this device and didn't really know much about navigation. I also made the mistake of testing the Air 2 for too long and as usual, life got in the way. When I finally tried to use it, I found many problems with it: it doesn't return home when you press the home button; does not download applications; It doesn't accept fingerprints etc. I thought it was me at first, but I asked an advanced user to try it and he found the same problems. The mechanic (Kanga Electronics) wouldn't do anything about it claiming the warranty had expired (I think it was around 6-9 months old at the time). They wouldn't even offer to try and fix it! They give new meaning to the phrase "Let the buyer beware.". The iPad is too expensive for this kind of treatment and you can bet I will NEVER buy anything else from these folks, refurbished or new. What a divorce!
