The previous magnet pulled out the vent when I picked up my phone. I wanted something that would be sturdy and also allow me to let some air out of the vent. I looked through dozens of options on Amazon and settled on this one. It's a few bucks more expensive and I was skeptical at first thinking it would be cheap plastic and crappy junk but I'm so happy with it. It's still lightweight plastic, but the construction makes it sturdy. Two clips firmly attach the base to the vent. I had a bit of trouble snapping them both in at first, but once I figured it out they were firmly in place. The magnet is very strong and grips like a gorilla's hand. I love that I can position it anywhere with a tiny extension. Highly recommended.
