Review on HOT TOOLS Professional Curling Lasting by Colleen Vazquez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great quality, great tool

A recent haircut made me look for the smallest curling iron I could find. I've tried other brands, the latest being the Revlon Perfect Heat 1/2" with storage lid. The Revlon's clip spring broke in less than three months; the best thing about this iron is the heat resistant butt plate. The differences between the two products were immediately recognizable. Hot Tools really does feel like a more durable professional tool. Two irons are similar in length and weight. Flat with no convenient indentation. The Hot Tools temperature controls and power button are more on the side of the tool, just below the clip -Handle like Revlon curling irons, which I found inconvenient and cumbersome to use.The Hot Tools shiny gold finish is designed for a smooth straightening when I've used a flat iron to straighten my hair before or instead of curling. The Finish on Revlon is very quick. The Tro got dirty and I felt a "twitch" when I used it to smooth e. Hot Tools Professional is a good iron. I hope it lasts! If the manufacturer has provided a heat-resistant drum cover; I could give it 5 stars as heat resistant coatings are very important right now.
