HOT TOOLS Professional Curling Lasting Review

2" barrel gave me exactly the waves I was looking for. I'm not very good at styling my hair, especially with a curling iron! I have the quick guide to the looked at how to use the iron and this one did exactly what I expected with my limited skills and once I got the hang of it it was easy to use! Here are 2 pictures showing how it worked for me, and where I started! I had it mainly at the highest temperature, since my hair is very thick it seemed to me that it works well at this temperature.

It took a little getting used to but I wanted to try this brand as it has been used in my salon with positive results. My normal curling iron is a 1" Babyliss, so I wanted to try Hot Tools with a large 1.5" barrel. Heats up quickly and evenly, hair is not damaged or pulled out. It's not as slippery as the surface of my babyliss, but I got used to it very quickly. 1" right.

This is the perfect size and price for my needs. I wanted a curling iron but couldn't find one in this price range/width with temperature control so I bought this and removed the clip (quite easily with pliers and a screwdriver) and it's perfect. I've actually had people asking if the curls I created were natural or if I had a perm. Being able to keep temperatures below 350°F is very important to me and this iron makes it very easy.
