Review on Bike backpack Jack Wolfskin Moab Jam 30 by Aneta Traczyk ᠌
A good product at a good price, I advise you to try it.
- Subjectively, it seems that the Tatonka Zefir 30 has more capacity, and this happens due to the greater width of the backpack, but I did not take detailed measurements. - The slings at the bottom of the backpack are not clear why they are needed. Reducing the volume when not fully loaded does not work well, the backpack is very "carried" (it is carved externally, deep folds are formed on the outside, it looks strange). - I chose a backpack not for bike rides, but for everything (including for the city). Works quite well. Normal backpack, with its own + and -.
- Review for Moab Jam 34, but it is almost the same as 30. I compare with Tatonka Zefir 30 (which served me faithfully for 8 years). - On the waist belt on both sides pockets; one of the pockets turns down and you can put a bottle / flask in it (in fact, I didn’t check how convenient it is). - In addition to the rain cover, the kit comes with a mesh cover for a helmet, which can be attached to the outside of the backpack; also comes with a small (perhaps a roll to pack) herm. - The waist belt has "wings" (not a sling, but a wide soft part of the waist) of great length. For example, in Tatonka Zefir, they barely touched the pelvic bones and turned into a wide sling. - Deep side mesh pockets. One of them has an elastic band to hold the flask/bottle.
- - Out of hand bad handle / loop for carrying, holding a backpack in the subway. Narrow, cuts fingers if loaded. - There are no fastexes on the side straps, so you can’t just fasten anything on the side. The lines themselves are quite short, so you can’t slip the foam. - Side mesh pockets are located quite high, so you can’t get into them with your hand without removing the backpack from your back. - The small compartment of the backpack is sewn so that when the backpack is turned over with an open zipper, everything will immediately get enough sleep. On Tatonka Zefir, the zipper is not at the very top of the backpack, but a little lower, so when turning over (or transferring it to a horizontal position), small things (pens, wires) are not lost. - Zippers are not covered by a placket as on Tatonka Zefir. - The regular rain cover is small, besides, the "anti-kickback" slings for the shoulder straps interfere, they simply do not allow the cover to catch on the upper edge
