These stencils will work but you will need to use a marker that will mark with minimal effort. If you are using a fabric marker pen, the template will not hold in place well due to the pressure required for the pen to mark on the fabric. Instead of pencils, I would suggest a fine-tipped, washable marker. Everything works when using a marker. It's quite thin so you'll need to be careful to keep it in place when marking the fabric.
