I was looking for LED bulbs after being frustrated with expensive halogen bulbs blowing out every year. I liked the brightness, color and beam width of the halogen bulbs but was frustrated that they had to be replaced every year. I went through several Revain 9005 (Hi Beam) / 9006 (Lo Beam) LED kits to find ones that would be compatible with my 2005 Suburban. They all said they were compatible, but looking closely at the reviews, not all of them fit properly due to the shape and/or depth of the heatsink on the back of the lamp. I have read reports about Sealight 9005/9006. combo kit and saw others reporting GM/Chevy compatibility due to the low profile radiator. You weren't wrong. Some of the other LED kits required modification of the headlight bracket to install. NO Sealight kit. Installed on the passenger side in minutes. They require a little force to squeeze the rubber o-ring just enough to rotate the lamp. Otherwise they fit perfectly. No obstacles. Nothing disturbs. Driving high beam on the driver's side was just as easy. The driver's side low beam took a bit of coaxing to get through the plastic housing mount on the back of the lens, but only just. I didn't have to change anything to install it there. Last night I drove about 10 minutes after installing them. I'm obsessed with color and brightness. They are even whiter (almost blue) than the halogens I had. Throw distance seems to be just as good (maybe slightly better) than halogen bulbs. The low beam is bright enough, has enough range, and has enough headlight range that I might not even need to use high beam. Even with the halogens I had, I didn't use high beams. My only disappointment with the high beam is that the beam range is significantly narrower than the low beam. However, they have a long throw range. I'll try to remember to update the review once I drive more with them on darker roads at night. There is quite a bit of light pollution where I live, so it's difficult to judge their performance at highway speeds. The low beam is still comfortable and bright. Maybe even a bit bright. Nice wide pattern. Throw distance is probably a little shorter than halogens at 80 mph, but not bad. Although I am very disappointed with the high beam. They aren't bright enough and don't even come close to the brightness of low beam or halogen. The beam width is very narrow. Last night, driving the interstate at over 80 miles per hour, I couldn't decide between high and low beams. The low beam has a large brightness and width. The high beam wasn't very bright but had a slightly longer beam range, but the beam range was too narrow.
