Now I've used it a few times, maybe I've fallen in love. I tried zucchini first and I have very little time to learn. Cut the ends of a decent diameter flat vegetable, press against the blade and twist. The end plate is designed to prevent you from hurting yourself if your fingers get too close, which works fairly well on softer veggies but is next to useless on something firmer, leaving you with a larger piece of uncut food at the end. I think sweet potato spaghetti changed my life.
