Such a beautiful basket! It's surprisingly strong for being made of fine mesh, although I wouldn't put anything very heavy in it for fear of bending the wire or breaking the handles. Basket looks exactly as pictured and arrived in perfect condition. solid metal surrounded by a fine wire mesh. The fabric lining is a type of faded blue denim with white stripes, a neutral look that goes with almost any decor. It dangles a few inches from the top and ties nicely with two neat, simple bows. It's pretty thin and good quality. I wouldn't expect it to withstand a lot of wear and tear. The metal wire handles sit perfectly in the basket but don't really stay upright unless you balance them against each other. I would say the size is about that of a supermarket hand truck. You could possibly even use it to hold groceries while shopping as long as they aren't too heavy. I don't know where to put mine in my house, but I was thinking of using it to store towels in the bathroom, on a coffee table in the living room, or to store children's toys. It's extremely versatile, so the possibilities are endless! The price of $23 is a little expensive for my taste, but this is an amazing quality product.
