It was listed as a "soft insole" and while the bottom is fine, the sides and upper are just canvas with rough stitching that scratches the top of my foot. The fabric edge is very rough; and aggravated by coarse threading. Basically, there is no lining in this shoe. The bottom is fine, although with stitching too, but the sides and top inside the shoes are rough. Need some padding to be comfortable.
