Review on πŸŽ₯ MOZA Slypod E Monopod: Precise Motorized Reinvent Motion Slider for DSLR/SLR Camera Gimbal Stabilizer by Shah Bell

Great handy stabilizer for mirrorless and other cameras

I have three Moza stabilizers (Air 2, AirCross 2 and Mini-MI) so I have a good understanding of their capabilities and functions. For mirrorless cameras with a variety of lenses, DSLRs with fairly compact lenses, and even cameras like the Black Magic Pocket Cinema 4K with lightweight prime/zoom lenses, the Moza AirCross 2 is a very handy and capable gimbal that I highly recommend both for beginners in working with stabilizers and for experienced videographers. Its maximum payload is 3.2 kg (or just over 7 pounds), which allows for some flexibility in terms of balancing and carrying. The fact that all three axes (roll, pitch, and tilt) can be individually locked is good for both their placement and proper camera balance. You can also add an iFocus M focus motor (which comes with this seller's Pro version for just $30) or even two of these if you want to control both your focus and zoom level from one gimbal that does two has separate connections. Script. In my case, I will pair the Aircross 2 to the Canon EOS M5 first, as in the photos and videos I have uploaded, and I will use the camera's full-time autofocus to make the process easier. I should also mention that the camera comes with cables that allow full control of a large number of cameras (exact models and features are listed on the Moza website). There are a few things I particularly like about this gimbal that make it more comfortable in some ways than its bigger brother, the Air 2. First, Moza designed an internal but removable battery that works very well (they also sell removable batteries, if you want to need extra). Batteries for the larger Air 2 (which itself weighs almost twice as much) seem less reliable from my own experience and that of others. The mechanics of the Aircross 2 are also really easy to get used to as it has 360 degree rotation in all three axes (instead of hard stops like the Air 2). This means that you can use it very smoothly without encountering a sudden stop in the middle of a recording. Finally, the Moza Master app allows you to control Aircross 2 from your smartphone. This ranges from updating the firmware to having the gimbal follow the phone's pitch, roll and pitch movements to placing the phone on the camera and holding the gimbal while the camera is pointed at you (or whatever ). . You want it to follow you and stay in focus) while you're recording a video. I haven't had enough time this week to fully experiment with this, but it should allow you to successfully create a video of your gimbal camera following your movements in space, e.g. B. if you walk back and forth. Combine this with an auto focus camera like the EOS M5 and you have a great way to capture yourself! So I highly recommend this gimbal for mid-range setups like mirrorless cameras or compact DSLR configurations. This is a really great way to incorporate gimbal footage into your video shoot and even fairly experienced people will find it suits their needs. I consider it one of the best current offerings on the market, especially in its price range. This is my first time shopping from this seller and I was really impressed with their communication when I asked a few questions before purchasing and also the extremely fast shipping once I placed my order. The AirCross 2 arrived securely boxed with a factory box in a nondescript brown box and everything was brand new. What is particularly nice is that the device and the included accessories (like L-Bracket and smartphone holder) are well stowed away in a sturdy storage box made of very dense styrofoam, which I will definitely use for both gimbal storage and storage. travel as needed. I hope this review was helpful. Please see the photos and short video I took with the stabilizer installed and then with our solar panels in the backyard during my first use of the stabilizer.

Pros
  • Easy to carry

  • Vulgarity
