Falling apart after a few months!

This jug fell apart in a few months. First the filter change indicator stopped working, then the plastic cover over the spout broke off. Recently, the whole lid falls off every time you pour water. It does not stay locked to the pitcher. When you go to pour water, it falls and all the water is poured out. I would have sent it back but it's been a few months and I don't feel like messing with it. What a disappointment.
