Quite a bit stiffer out of the box than the stock band but seems to be of a much higher quality. Has two holding loops on it as opposed to the single loop on the original one. The slightly girthier make on this one won't give you that same "form-fit" but the thickness of it will ensure that you won't have to worry about it cracking at the release latch after a few months. The only slight knock I have against it is that the little buckle has more of a ceramic finish. I preferred the look of the glossy metallic one on the original.
