This is plastic and the LEDs are not as bright as could be.

This unit is made of plastic, I don't think it will hold up under extensive use. The lense is plastic, and I don't like the construction although it does magnify the way I wanted. The LEDs are not as bright as I want.

Pros

Light weight, easy to use, good clearity.

Cons

The magnifying glass may become scratched or damaged over time, affecting its effectiveness
