One star deducted for 2 reasons. First, because the perimeter of the bar is very, very small. In fact, you can buy the exact same thing at Dollar General. I suppose the company makes up for this by giving you two in a pack. The second reason is that there are no instructions. I thought it was a pull rod but it doesn't work with the spring method. I realized I had to pick up the little plastic thing and start unscrewing the end of the rod. When you get the right size, slide the plastic piece back to hold the pole.
