This thing disappointed me from the start. Firstly, the cable is too short, for someone it may not be a problem, but for me it was. Also, the sound level is nowhere near loud enough, it is no different from what I had when using the controller output. Finally, the surround sound is terrible, it makes things sound too far away, and that's bad when playing multiplayer games. Update: There is a firmware update that will increase the volume to a reasonable level, but until the surround sound quality improves my score will not improve. The main reason for buying it is the surround sound and this device isn't very good at that. I even bought a new HyperX Cloud Alpha headset hoping that was the problem, but it wasn't.
