The longer I've had them, the more I realize how little I like them. Ordinary towels. They fulfill their purpose: the material becomes drier and does not pill. But I'm seriously considering sending a batch to a thrift store. They're very thick, which gives them a certain appeal, but turns out they're too thick to drape over the oven handle and then stay there. They seem to slip and fall to the ground immediately when someone hits them. (They have a loop for hanging from a hook, but I don't have a towel hook.) They wrinkle when washed, especially around the edges, and unlike my plain 100% cotton towels, which also wrinkle, they don't look good out when they are washed, they are wrinkled. They can absorb a lot of water once they start working, but this lasts longer than flimsy towels. Everything is fine with them. For real. I'm sure some people really love them. I think I can really recommend them as a towel to put on the counter when your dish rack is already full but you still need room to set down a few wet plates to dry. But in the end, even though they work, they don't make me happy.
