The correct openings in the Bowen ring for this particular softbox are: 1:2 and 1:3
No instructions are included, you have to figure out which holes in the Bowen ring to use, trial and error was tedious and difficult, but once I got the first one together correctly, the second one was much easier. The appropriate holes in the bowen ring for this particular softbox are 1:2 and 1:3. I used it on a life size person and for product photography it is durable, honeycomb grids are essential in my opinion. Avoid light scattering and better focus the light on the object.
- The Godox softbox consists of two layers of cones inside and out, a black honeycomb mesh that can also be removed. Therefore, you can get multiple lighting contrast options, resulting in more even lighting.
