On our old camper we used a bucket and bungee cord to hold it over the jack, on our new camper we wanted something better and this cover fits the bill. It's light in color, which is a good thing as it gets a lot of sun exposure, the material is nice and heavy, and the drawstring is tight so the wind doesn't blow the cover off. The best part for us was being able to lower or raise the jack without removing the lid as you can feel the knob through the lid that rotates the jack up/down.
