All aspects of the IP54 design that were advertised sounded good and were delivered. Unfortunately, the marketing information fails to mention one of the most critical aspects of this gauge - the clearance between the slider and the base vernier. With a fixed size, the wobbling of the two elements creates a measurement difference on the display of up to 0.03 mm. I would not recommend this device to anyone who expects accurate and reproducible measurements every time.
