I have used this for my iPad and iPhone 6s. I was hoping to stream the Apple TV through an RJ45 internet connection and through the HDMI port. The internet connection worked, but every time the device went to sleep I had to unplug and plug it back in. HDMI does not work with Apple TV due to HDCP copy protection, which this device does not support and is clearly stated in the details of the description. I just didn't research beforehand to find out that Apple TV uses HDCP. HDMI works well with programs other than HDCP.
