We have recently moved and have a beautiful private garden with a fantastic shade tree. The yard is very dark at night and I wanted to add some light for safety and atmosphere. I ordered two of these long garlands and used one around our gazebo and hung the other from the lower branches of our tree. We keep one remote control indoors and the other in a safe place in the gazebo. This is a remote lead, but it works well once we figure out how to get the light out of shooting mode. The flicker and fade effects are nice, but I prefer simple lights and I like that they can be adjusted. The timer works well and both devices turn on after dark. The only small downside is that the font in the instructions is small and unreadable even with my glasses. I decided to take a picture with my phone and zoomed it in to a trick viewable from space. That's how I learned that setting 8 is a constant light that allows me to get out of fit mode from hell. They gave off a warm light that completely transformed our garden into a wonderland. I can buy more to decorate the wall!
