I recently built a new editing workstation based on the Intel Z390 chipset. My old WiFi PCI card barely supports 5GHz and I've heard good things about the new wireless CNVi chips combined with a 9th Gen Intel processor. I have to say I'm very pleased with how well this works. My connection to the router is stable and easily maintains the maximum speed of my internet service. In fact, I have to say that it's like a wired connection to my router that I do NOT have to worry about (drilling holes and running cables, etc.). I love that it comes with cables and an external antenna ready to use! The base of the antenna is magnetic and it sticks well to my body, making a nice and extremely effective connection. I also really LOVE how it keeps my computer relatively clutter free inside. This build has a glass window, so the lack of additional PCI cards combined with my NVMe hard drive in my motherboard's other M.2 slot makes for a very clean install.
