Love this sleeping bag! My little one loves to kick her feet in her sleeping bag so the extra space is perfect for her. We got the Kyte baby bag from my baby shower and I love the softness but it doesn't have much room for her width for her to kick it. This resulted in her ripping the lining of that bag with her feet. There is enough room in this bag for her to kick and there is no lining to rip. Perfect for us here in the south with our hot summers and mild winters. The only reason I took the star off is the flap that protects the zipper. I'd rather have a protective zipper than a flap. My child likes to chew on this part of the bag, so the thick flap has become a bit tight and won't zip up anymore. If it burst it wouldn't be a problem. I still love this sleeping bag and plan to get more.
