You don't buy these brushes expecting a perfect brush. They buy brushes like this for things that can ruin the brushes. That's why I got it. You are appropriate. I will use them for polishes and other brush destroyers and keep my higher quality brushes for higher quality tasks. I recommend rinsing them to loosen loose bristles already and some may need trimming. Again, they were bought with little expectation. If you need any type of brush these are perfect for you. If you want something reliably average, that's great. Loew Cornell is a stable brand and they are as good as the first set I got when I was ten years old. Over twenty years later? The same quality. This is not for your masterpiece.
