I have used the strips before without any problem. (I can't remember if they were Tetra). I know they aren't as accurate as the API test kits, but they worked for me. This batch of Tetra test strips is terribly inaccurate. I've been going to the new tank for about a month but I didn't want to add any fish because my pH kept going back to 6.3. (my tap water is 7.0) My LFS recommended a Seachem 7.0 ph buffer to restore the pH. After 3 weeks of intensive buffer dosing, nothing has changed. I've tried adding baking powder; Nothing. I suspected something was wrong with the strips and grabbed the API chemistry test kit. WOOOOOOAAAAAAAHHHHHH my PH was actually 7.6! These strips are garbage. Walk through them.
