I LOVE the new black mask products, and Fleur Noire has one of my favorites. Most of the black masks have bamboo and charcoal, and are very hard to peel off. While this product has similar ingredients to the rest, it came off of the skin a bit more easily, taking a lot of dead skin cells with it. Part of the allure of these masks is how deeply and strongly they grab at dead skin and plugged up oil, preventing pimples and blackheads from forming. I followed the directions as stated, which meant steaming my face with a washcloth before using the mask. What I liked was that this mask came off in larger pieces, while still doing the job removing dry skin cells. My face felt smooth and soft afterword. While some of the other masks may pull more tightly and unplug pores, they are murder to remove. For my ashy skin, this was perfect!
