Review on 🍊 Nemco 55850 Manual Citrus Juicer - Heavy Duty, Multicolor, 7.5-inch by Carlos Alston

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simply the best, Made in the USA

I own a lot of citrus juicers, both manual and electric. The electric juicers I have, like the Breville and Hurom, have a push handle and are nice and easy to use, but both have serious design flaws where the top cup meets the handle. I don't think they will last long as the joints are plastic. I feel like I have to be very careful with them to not break them up and worry about the rest of the family who aren't as aware. As for those two, I prefer the Hurom, the Breville is way overpriced in my opinion. As for the hand presses, I have Experian models (made in Mexico) ranging in size from lime to grapefruit. While they work well, the materials and workmanship are pretty poor (for example, the aluminum acorn nuts on the pivot points are a joke and just a bad idea). I also have an Olympus XL which is pretty good but made in China. I also have a Citrus X, basically the same as Olympus, also made in China. Both have parts that come loose and are not very stable in operation. Nemco is by far the best product of all. Although the thing is built like a tank, the combination of aluminum and stainless steel parts makes it not overly heavy. A leverage ratio of 20:1 is a dream. It just works with no flaws that I can find and I'm sure this thing will last for generations. And it's made in the USA, I'm tired of sending money to China for almost everything. While this model isn't cheap, I think it's almost ideal, especially for those who have a strong lower body. It's a keeper!
