I fitted it to the handlebars before shoulder surgery as I expected I would need a little help with the one handed surgery. This grip has helped make single-handed riding more than manageable; that's easy. This button allows me to gently turn right, left, or turn with little effort. To position the grip, simply check where you normally hold the hand that will be using it and position the grip directly over where your hand will rest. This makes it easier to switch between holding the steering wheel for straight stretches and using the stick for fast cornering. Yes, I admit. I placed mine in a few other positions before getting it right. In theory, the bottom of the wheel seemed like a good center point, but trust me, that's not where it works best.
